Continuing its focus on the Church, Doxology Records partners with singer/songwriter Shannon Wexelberg for the release of her label debut, Story Of My Life, hitting stores on December 24, 2002, through Chordant Distribution.
Wexelberg, whose established touring base to womens conferences, worship workshops and other concerts has already generated a loyal audience for her music, is turning her attention to her first solo project with Story Of My Life. A talented pianist, she has written each of the songs on her debut, and additionally had a hand in arrangement and production. Songs such as Shadow of a Tree, which poetically describes the freedom Christians find in the cross, and the poignant title track, Story of My Life, set the tone for Wexelbergs debut. Read More...

Story of My Life...A Brief Bio
From Mozart to Michael W. Smith, the lives of so many musicians begin the same wayfeet dangling off a piano bench, fingers just big enough to barely make a chord. Somewhere along the way, divine inspiration strikes and talent takes hold, separating those of us who never want to practice from those of us whose abilities and passion make music an inseparable, intricate part of our lives.

In The Waiting - A Devotional by Shannon
Weve all experienced the agony of waiting at one time or another - standing in line waiting to pay for our groceries, getting stuck in traffic when you are in a hurry to get somewhere, or even counting the days until a joyous event arrives on your calendar. In waiting to pay for groceries, you can see the other customers, how fast or how slowly the check-out clerk is moving, and know approximately how long its going to take you to get out of there. But not so with God. His furnace of waiting is not so clearly defined, and we are not allowed the benefit of viewing His timetable. And to top it all off, He is not required to answer questions like How long? and Why me? while we roll our eyes and sigh heavily, shifting from side to side in line. In fact, there is no line at all, no number to be taken! Some people may only have to wait a week for the very same thing we have waited years for!
