At this time, the opportunities for a new, independent label in Christian music are vast. Doxology seeks to find and develop distinctive artists who, with a servants heart, desire to use and express their gifts within the context of the Church and its mission.
We want to work with communicators who take joy in the beautiful things that happen when people gather together in His name. We seek artists who are both passionate and compassionate singers and writers who are moved by the needs of people.
Doxology will focus on providing a creative community of believers, both artists and workers, who are committed to each other, inspired by each other ... each aware of the role they play in the Kingdom.

Doxology Records is a label devoted to new expressions of testimony, encouragement and praise for the Church today. Born out of a love for music, we desire to make clear to both our artists and consumers the corporate soul of this effort: what we believe about God, His world, His music. At the heart of this label is the belief that God uses music in powerful ways to reveal His love and truth to people.

The Doxology refrain is a song of blessing, known by almost all believers. This common expression of praise has been sung for centuries, and today is used in worship by a wide spectrum of denominations, from High Church to Evangelical to Charismatic, in all styles of worship.
As importantly, the Doxology, although an important part of most Sunday services, is never sung as a solo. It is always sung by the people, as an expression of their own community of faith, and in response to Gods many blessings. Our songs will lend themselves to both individual and corporate expressions of worship; but the name Doxology reminds us that the emphasis for our music is not on the performer or performance, but the individuals response to the work of the Spirit. The name, handed down through the centuries, is central to our identity as a label. We see it as our passion, our mission, and our responsibility to honor the name.

At Doxology, we will be working with artists who are, indeed, gifted performers and effective communicatorsartists of unique calling, talent and commitment. But they will also be artists who are servant-hearted, who understand that their gifts are God-given. As the name Doxology exemplifies, these artists are called to nourish and edify the Church, and to be used to lead Christians to their own expression of praise. Doxology will be comprised of artists who are powerful communicatorsmature in their faithwho have a strong sense of how God works throughout the entire Church, not just their own denomination.

Jesus often called people to Himself in very direct ways and also in quite subtle ways. We will encourage our artists and writers to be open to inspiration for songs that are honest and personal reflecting their individual style, personality and calling. Out of such authentic expressions come songs of power and beauty, songs that the Church can rally around.
We believe in the unique and eternal value of music. We are honored to work with artists and songwriters who are giving their life to the creation of new songs of Praise. Our passion will be these songs to take these offerings from our artists and writers and to find new settings and multiple uses for them in the contemporary Church. It is our hope that when our artist leaves a church, their songs remain, becoming a part of the life of that worshiping community. Our desire is to see songs transcend the artist, the songwriter, and the record company to become a song that belongs to all believers.

Assisting in Doxology's mission is a board of directors comprised of some of Christian music's most respected leaders. Serving as Chairman of the Board is former President of Word Records, Roland Lundy, who has overseen the careers of Amy Grant, Point of Grace and Jaci Velasquez. Also serving are industry leaders Bill Gaither and Integrity Music's CEO Jerry Weimer, retired banking executive John Newcomer and producers Michael Omartian (Amy Grant, Reba McIntire), Dann Huff (Faith Hill, Lonestar) and Monroe Jones (Third Day, Chris Rice).
Music styles come and go. And when creative people find Christ, they will always express that new-found faith with the music they love. But for this music to have timeless impact, sooner or later its got to connect with the Church. When artists learn how to connect their music with the people in the pews, then they will then write songs that, years from now sitting around a piano, will create instant community. Those are the artists and the songs we want for Doxology. Bill Gaither
I am extremely happy to be working with Dan and Doxology. God has blessed this label with a passion for the Church and a vision for artists who are called to minister and serve the Church. Jerry Weimer
Artists need creative people around them to help them make their best music. Doxology will be run by music people. It will be a great home for artists to create and to grow. Michael Omartian
There definitely is a need in the music industry for major labels and independents. Both have their own particular strengths. The smaller label can move more quickly and is able to focus, making sure all its functions operate in unison. Smaller labels often do a better job of nurturing their artists, as well as developing their own particular uniqueness. I believe this industry will benefit from the kind of focus that Doxology will give to our artists. Roland Lundy
