| Christian Marketplace best-seller lists are compiled from computerized, ISBN-specific POS data from a wide sampling of more than 700 Christian retail stores in North America, including both chains and independents. The music, children's audio, and video lists are compiled from Christian SoundScan numbers (which also contain some concert and direct sales). The Christian Marketplace list is the only monthly list based just on Christian-store sales. CBA Marketplace compiles the lists, then sends them to the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, which distributes them to more that 400 other media each month, including Publishers Weekly, Christian Retailing, and the USA Radio Network. |
